The only program of its kind, Young Eagles, is dedicated to giving youth ages 8-17 their first free ride in an airplane. To date, we have introduced over 2 million kids into the world of aviation.

When?

Held this Saturday, September 17, 2022. Registration is from 8:30 am to about 10:30 am! Flights start at 9:00 am and will fly till around 12:30 pm. Please register early. (WEATHER PERMITTING). Driggs Reed Memorial Airport, Warbirds Lane, 675 Airport Road, Driggs, ID 83422.

This event is sponsored by the Teton Valley EAA Chapter 1049. Please visit www.tetoneaa.com for more information.

Teton Valley EAA will have aircraft on display, educational materials, a flight simulator, and pilots to answer questions about aviation.  Come join! For more information, visit the national Young Eagles Website at EAA Young Eagles .  This program is funded through your generous donations to both Tin Cup, and Wild Bills fund runs, so please remember to make your donations!

Who can Participate?

Ever wondered what your neighborhood looks like from the sky? Or maybe you’re curious about how airplanes even work. You might even dream about being a pilot. If you’re nodding your head “Yes” and are between the ages of 8 and 17, you’re ready to take a free Young Eagles flight and see what real pilots do on the ground and in the air!
