UAS require notification for use within 5 miles of airport

Under  FAA rules, any  hobby  usage  of  Drones (technically called  Unmanned  Aerial  Systems  (UAS)  within 5 miles  of  an airport requires  that  the user  notify  the operator  of  the facility  of  the expected  use.   This  includes  drones, kites, model  rockets, model  airplanes, or  any  other  mechanism  which is  capable  of  sustained flight.   Please click on these links if you want to use a drone.
